In this page we learn that Chase is a Pastafarian in the Church of the Flying Spaghetti Monster; however, I’m not sure where the church stands on taking the Flying Spaghetti Monster’s name in vain. Does anybody know if that’s okay to do?

We’re entering some deep geekery here folks with the mention of the Owlbear. According to Wikipedia, “Owlbears are approximately eight to ten feet (2.5–3 meters) tall and resemble a cross between an owl and bear. Owlbears are carnivorous creatures famed for their aggression and ferocity; they live in mated pairs in caves and hunt in packs, attacking any creature bigger than a mouse.” They sound horrifyingly awesome!

Well that’s all I have to say about Owlbears for the time being. Other things worth mentioning: our Kickstarter completed and we exceeded our goal. Thank you guys so much!

I only have one more page to draw for Thursday. Then all that’s left is the inking, coloring, adding the dialog and publishing it. It doesn’t sound like much, but Kimball and I are also working on putting together the color editions of Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday in time for Emerald City.

Speaking of costumes, what’s something you’ve dressed up as in the past? Two years ago I dressed up as Finn from Adventure Time (pictures here). Probably the best costume I’ve had. I made it myself.

Been busy drawing a whole bunch of pages in an attempt to get everything done in time to get this volume colored and printed in time for Emerald City Comic Con.

Happy New Year, everyone! Thank you all for supporting and liking Briar Hollow this past year! 2012 will bring us the completion of Briar Hollow, Volume One: Guilty Pleasure and Kimball and I are so excited to bring it to you. Here is the first new page of the year.

While at first this may appear to be clever product placement for the very real game, Killer Bunnies, rest assured in the knowledge that Kimball and I have not sold out and are in no way shape or form receiving money from the fine folks who make the game. Like Benny and Cole, we’re just a fans of the game.

Also, bonus points for whoever recognizes what’s on Benny’s shirt!

This is our holiday episode. Granted, the holiday in question is Veterans Day. Other than that, this episode is all about Disney animation!

Kimball and I grew up loving Disney animation. As did our guests for this episode: Matty Newton (its-matty.tumblr.com) and Conley Smith (conleysdoodles.tumblr.com). Rocky, not so much.

We discuss the first Disney cartoon we ever saw, least favorite movie, favorite villains, favorite songs and how pretty much every Disney villain is totally gay. Scar? Jafar? Ursula? Think about it.

Also, Rocky unsuccessfully tries to get everyone to sing. A lot. I don’t think he understands purchasing music rights.
